Materials: The Book A Memory Box , Boxes, markers, stickers, paper strips, pens, crayons, snacks

Description: This workshop will give individuals a chance to create a special box to hold their memories of their loved ones who have passed. A book will be read titled The Memory Box. The participant will have the opportunity to make the box look the way they wish it to look. (The participant does not need to have any artistic ability!) The participants will be encouraged to add to this box whenever they choose and to take out this box and to be reminded of a special memory involving their loved one.

Summary: This workshop will be held in the gathering room at paper covered tables set up in a circle to encourage discussion among participants. Art materials will be available on the tables within reach of the participants; snacks will be available as well.
